Water close to home
The work was carried out with local partner The Water Trust. Judith, a mother of six, told them what the new water point has changed.
“It never occurred to me that we would have clean water in my village. Riding a bicycle daily to the swamps or to a neighboring village was all I had experienced from childhood.”
“But my circumstances changed when The Water Trust came,” she said. “We now comfortably do our farm work without worrying about long distance movements in search of water because our water point is nearby.”
