Clean Water Update: Côte d'Ivoire

Clean Water Update: Côte d'Ivoire

Our partners at charity: water have sent the completion report for Côte d’Ivoire.

The projects are complete (2020)

Your sponsorship funded one well with a handpump, serving 676 people in Gaoya, in the Bangolo, Daloa and Danané departments.

Built to keep working

The work was carried out with local partner the International Rescue Committee. To keep the well running long after it was built, the IRC trains Water Point User Committees. The members live in the community, take part in the trainings and meetings voluntarily, and report back to their neighbours on how the water point is being managed and paid for.

Thank you

676 people in Gaoya now have access to clean water. Thank you for being part of it.
